HJK:n vanha luottohyökkääjä tärkeässä roolissa nousussa Turkin pääsarjaan

Entisen HJK-hyökkääjän Demba Savagen seura Erzurumspor on noussut Turkin pääsarjaan.

Savage ampui viimeisen pilkun sisään, kun Erzurumspor löi nousukarsintojen finaalissa Gazişehir Gaziantepin rangaistuspotkukilpailun jälkeen.

Heroic goalkeeping performance in the penalty Shootout saw BB Erzurumspor promoted to Turkish Super Lig after 0-0 on ordinary time in the expense of Gazişehir Gaziantep. #DembaSavage was one of the 3 players brought on for the penalties as he took the last spot for Erzurumspor

Savagella oli myös tärkeä rooli nousukarsintojen aiemmassa ottelussa. Gambialainen ampui tuolloin voittomaalin Ümraniyesporin verkkoon.
