Huuhkajien entisellä päävalmentajalla Mixu Paatelaisella oli torstaina edessään tulikaste tosipeleissä uuden joukkueensa Latvian luotsina. Latvia avasi Nations League -taipaleensa kotiottelulla piskuista Andorraa vastaan, mutta tulos oli isännille karvas pettymys. Latvia jäi nimittäin Andorran kanssa maalittomaan tasapeliin.

It finished Latvia 0 Andorra 0. Dreadful game. No quality from Latvia and zero ambition from Andorra. At least there were the wonderful floodlights !! Attendance 4803
